On tonight's WGN News at Five, I went to check out the new pop-up art exhibit from the Chicago Loop Alliance. It's all about celebrating the 30th anniversary of Metro, the music venue at 3730 N. Clark.
The exhibit features dozens of hand drawn concert posters founder Joe Shanahan has saved over the venue's thirty years of shows. You can see them free of charge through August 3rd. The space is open Monday through Friday, 10am-6pm inside the Inland Steel Building at 77 S. Dearborn.
Check out more about the exhibit on the Loop Alliance's website at PopUpArtLoop.com.
And if you haven't seen a concert at the Metro, you've got something to add to the top of your Chicago to-do list. Check out everything the venue has to offer at MetroChicago.com.
