Protect your pets from Lyme disease

Fall is here, but ticks are still biting despite the cooler temperature. According to the experts, including the Companion Animal Parasite Council, the adult tick that transmits Lyme disease to pets and people is most active in many areas from October through March. The nonprofit CAPC just issued its Fall Parasite Forecast predicting increased risk of Lyme disease in the coming months.
