LONDON – Plymouth’s Morgan Uceny will run for the Gold at the London Olympics on Friday.
Uceny earned her way to the 1500 meter finals by finishing 3rd in her heat Wednesday afternoon.
Uceny ran the race in 4:05.34, more than a second better than her 1st round qualifying time of 4:06.87.
She finished two places better than fellow American Shannon Rowbury, who also earned a spot in Friday’s finals, which will be run at 3:50 p.m. EDT.
