INDIANAPOLIS --Right-hander Ross Ohlendorf allowed just three runs over 7.2 innings and struck out a season high nine to lead Indianapolis to an 8-4 victory over Toledo in front of 9,705 Sunday afternoon at Victory Field.

The Indians improve to 54-62 overall and 30-32 at home, while the Mud Hens fall to 63-53 on the season and 30-27 on the road. With wins the past two days, the Tribe finishes their season series against Toledo with a 9-12 record.

Ohlendorf (7.2 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 9 SO) needed just 95 pitches to pick up his first win in a Tribe uniform. The 25-year-old, who moves to 1-1 in two starts for Indianapolis, went 1-1 with a 4.03 ERA in five starts with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before coming over to the Pittsburgh organization in a July 26 trade.

CF Andrew McCutchen, LF Nyjer Morgan and 3B Neil Walker provided all the offense the Indians would need, combining to go 8-for-13 with six runs, five RBI and three stolen bases.

The offensive attack started in the third when McCutchen lifted a double to center, before Morgan and Walker roped back-to-back RBI base hits. Then in the fifth, Morgan doubled in McCutchen, before trotting home on a sacrifice fly by Walker.

1B Jason Delaney drove in his first two runs in a Tribe uniform with a seventh inning single that plated McCutchen and Morgan for the third time on the afternoon. 2B Matt Kata followed with a triple that brought home Delaney to extend the Tribe lead to 7-1.

Morgan (4-for-5, 3 R, 3 RBI), McCutchen (3-for-4, 3 R) and Delaney (2-for-4, 1 R, 2 RBI) all turned in multi-hit performances for the Indians. The four hits and three runs were both season highs for Morgan, while McCutchen collected three base knocks for the seventh time this season.

Indianapolis RHP Jesse Chavez (1.1 IP, 2 SO) tossed a perfect ninth for his team leading 10th save of the season.

Toledo blasted their way onto the scoreboard with a solo home run by 1B Jeff Larish in the seventh and a two-run shot by CF Clete Thomas in the eighth. Larish later collected another RBI when his base hit brought home RF Timo Perez in the eighth.

Mud Hens RHP Chris Lambert (5.0 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 1 BB, 5 SO) started and took the loss to drop to 11-7 on the season.

LF Freddy Guzman (2-for-4, 1 R) and Larish (2-for-3, 1 R, 2 RBI) collected multiple base knocks for Toledo.
