Right now the Colts are looking the part of a major favorite, beating the Jaguars 27-10 Thursday night at EverBank Field. Indianapolis improves to 6-3 on the season as they get ready to face the Patriots in Foxborough on November 18th.
Things started quietly for the Colts who used a 44-yard drive to put up their only points of the first quarter-an Adam Vinatieri 31-yard field goal to get the lead.
Luck then had a second quarter where he was able to show off his ability to run the football, first with an eight-yard touchdown run early in the quarter to make it 10-0. Then after a rare turnover, Luck again got to the endzone with a rush, pushing in from one-yard out on fourth down to make it 17-0.
It appeared the Colts would be on their way to scoring again, but a pressured Luck overthrew a receiver deep in Jaguars terriotory and was intercepted by Dawan Landry. Blaine Gabbert then put together a long established drive, setting up Josh Scobee for a 41-yard field goal to make it 17-3.
