Jessica Biel has landed the female lead in the romantic comedy "Easy Virtue."
Based on the play by Noel Coward, "Easy Virtue" also stars Ben Barnes ("Stardust"), Kristin Scott Thomas ("The English Patient") and Colin Firth ("Pride & Prejudice").
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Biel will play an American divorcee who goes to the South of France and swiftly makes a young English chap (Barnes). Awkwardness ensues when she returns to England to meet his parents (Thomas, Firth).
Stephan Elliott is directing the production, which begins shooting next week.
Biel was most recently seen in "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry" and "Next," while she's already completed work on "Powder Blue" and "A Woman of No Importance."
