Ali Larter, Beyonce Knowles and Idris Elba are in place to star in the Screen Gems thriller "Obsessed."
In addition to starring, Knowles will also executive produce along with her father Matthew Knowles, according to Variety. Steve Shill is directing from the script by David Loughery.
The plot revolves around an asset manager (Elba) whose perfect job and perfect home life (with a wife played by Beyonce) is put in jeopardy by the scary affections of a temporary office worker (Larter).
Shooting on "Obsessed" will begin this summer.
In addition to her ongoing run as Niki on NBC's "Heroes," Larter's credits include the features "Resident Evil: Extinction," "Final Destination" (and its first sequel) and a memorable turn in "Varsity Blues."
Although she's still best known for her music, Knowles picked up a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the Oscar-winning "Dreamgirls." She's also acted in "Austin Powers in Goldmember," "The Fighting Temptations" and "The Pink Panther."
Elba, critically adored as Stringer Bell on HBO's "The Wire," has been busy on the big screen with recent turns in "American Gangster," "This Christmas" and "The Reaping." He has "Prom Night" and "RocknRolla" set for release later this year.
