Fast National ratings for Friday, Jan. 30, 2009

Having a lineup of reruns didn't stop CBS from taking the ratings crown on Friday night even against first-run programming on other channels.

CBS won with a soft 5.1 rating/9 share among households, followed by ABC with a 4.0/7. NBC came in third with a 3.3/6, then FOX, 2.8/5 and The CW, 1.0/2.

Among 18 to 49-year-olds, CBS tied with ABC for a 1.8 apiece, while NBC managed a 1.6 over FOX's 1.3 and The CW's 0.6.

CBS kicked off the evening at 8 p.m. with a repeat of " Ghost Whisperer," 5.3/9. ABC's "Wife Swap" came in second over NBC's "Howie Do It," 3.2/6, while a "House" repeat on FOX, 2.9/5, received more than double the viewership of The CW's "Everybody Hates Chris" and " The Game," which averaged a 1.2/2 for the hour.

In the 9 'o clock hour, a "Flashpoint" repeat kept CBS steady at No. 1 with a 5.3/9, while "20/20" kept ABC in the second-place spot at 4.2/7. NBC's " Friday Night Lights," 2.5/4, and FOX's repeat of "Lie to Me," 2.4/4, followed, leaving The CW's new episode of "13: Fear Is Real" to trail in last.

CBS barely maintained its lead at 10 p.m. with a rerun of " Numb3rs," 4.8/9, just ahead of ABC's second hour of "20/20," 4.5/8, and NBC's 4.1/7 for "Dateline."
