Get a pass to the past on a cultural exchange tour to Cuba that will transport you to Havana, a city where the skyline and economy have changed little in the last half-century. The Vacations by Rail trip focuses on helping travelers get acquainted with Cubans in their daily lives, from the city of Havana to the tobacco plantations of Viñales Valley. Ports of call include Havana, Maria la Gorda, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Santiago de Cuba, Baracoa / Alejandro de Humboldt National Park and Gibara / Holgui.

Dates: Departures from February to December 2016

Price: The trip includes train accommodations from New York to Miami (starting at $5,353 per person for an 11-night trip), but Californians may prefer to join the group in Miami, with prices starting at $4,498, plus port taxes (nine-night trip). Included are a cruise aboard the Saint Laurent, meals aboard the ship and select tours, activities and entertainment.
