The Living Desert zoo and garden in Palm Desert is leading a safari in March to discover the landscapes and wildlife of Namibia. The excursion, accompanied by Living Desert President Allen Monroe, will visit the waterholes of Etosha National Park, where participants will have an opportunity to see elephants, giraffes, zebras and black rhinos.

Other highlights include a visit to the Cheetah Conservation Fund as well as night drives and rhino tracking on foot at Desert Rhino Camp.

Pre- and post-camp extensions are available to Cape Town, South Africa, and the red sand dunes at Sossusvlei, respectively.

Dates: March 16-29

Price: $7,995 per person, double occupancy; $2,995 single supplement. Included are accommodations in tent camps and lodges, all meals, airfare for flights within Namibia, all wildlife viewing from 4x4 vehicles, guide, park entry fees, gratuities and taxes. International airfare not included.
