My wife, Sue, our Portuguese water dog, Maddie, and I just returned from four days on California’s Central Coast. What a wonderful experience. Dog- and budget-friendly. We enjoyed a delicious fresh seafood dinner at Dorn’s in Morro Bay. Sue had fish and chips, and I had the Petrale sole (grilled, although they will prepare it any way you like it). You’ll also find beef, chicken, pasta, salads and sandwiches on the menu. It has a pet-friendly patio and gorgeous sunset views. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served 7 a.m.-9 p.m. daily. Dinner entrees from $12.
