Beverly Hills' new long-stay hotel: AKA Beverly Hills
AKA Beverly Hills officially opens its doors Wednesday (today), though the extended-stay hotel started greeting guests last November. The hotel at 155 N. Crescent Drive (the former Crescent Apartments) features 88 furnished one- and two-bedroom suites for stays of at least 30 days. AKA, which has properties in Philadelphia, New York City and London, is hoping to draw the celebrity crowd. Suites start at $325 and penthouse at $650 a night. Cool perks: A 20-seat screening room and Spago In-Suite, that is, "personal catering" for meals from the nearby Spago restaurant.
