John Lampl shot this photo of Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro at just the right moment. "During the day the weather was overcast, but at sunset, Corcovado was backlit and almost
looked like the mountains in the background were on fire," he said. The statue, which dates to 1931, is said to be the largest Art Deco-style sculpture in the world.
