Yosemite National Park may be closed because of the budget shutdown, but its birthday party goes on! The Yosemite Grant signed 150 years ago by Abraham Lincoln has given rise to a brewski aptly called 1864 Ale. "It's really cool Oktoberfest style beer made from hops picked from a secret location locally," says Casey Hawkins of the microbrewery South Gate Brewing Co. in Oakhurst. All are invited to the rollout party (no cover charge) that will feature live music, maybe an Abe impersonator and $4 pints of the new beer.
