California: Cambria Christmas Market is a bit of a German tradition
The coastal town of Cambria steals a page from Germany in hosting its first Christmas Market this year. Holiday lights, booths selling food and wine, and musical acts are all part of the festivities. And the best part: free admission.
The deal: The Christmas Market opens weekends on a pathway between Cambria Pines Lodge and Cambria Nursery and Florist. Booths sell toys, candles and other crafts as well as traditional German food and wine. Choruses and bands perform too, and Santa makes an appearance at 6 p.m. each day the market is open. There are also holiday lights at the lodge and gardens to see.
When: The Christmas Market is open 4-9 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until Dec. 23.
