"It's the first grand snowstorm to blanket the U.K. capital in three years," Lampl writes. "Luckily most of the transport infrastructure was working despite the white stuff,
although some tube lines and the airports were running with scattered delays." The weekend forecast calls for snow Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the low 30s. "This weekend," Lampl writes, "should be interesting to say the least.
