India, Poland and Portugal celebrate Ganesh
India has at least two color-driven Hindu holidays, the elephant-headed god Ganesh's birthday and the Holi Festival that's held each spring. Ganesh Chaturthi, as Ganesh's special day is called, started last week and will continue for 10 days. The Holi Festival moved from spring to fall in Portugal and Poland, where color fests took place Sunday. Here's a glimpse of what these festivities look like.
