If you’re traveling between the East Coast and the Caribbean anytime soon (and you might wish you weren’t), Mashable has put together a cool blog post on 12 websites good for tracking Hurricane Irene. The hurricane, making its way through the Caribbean, is expected to slam the East Coast this weekend, but authorities aren’t sure exactly where it will land, according to this Reuters story.

Travelers should keep an eye on at least one of the sites recommended by Mashable to see how their plans may be affected. Airlines have already started issuing fee waivers for ticket changes in some of the affected areas.

So how do you track flight changes? Check with your airline online or by phone -- and on its Facebook and Twitter feeds -- for the most up-to-date information and how to change your flight. Here are some airlines that are waiving change fees, as of Tuesday.
