Las Vegas: Bigger Beacher’s Madhouse debuts on New Year’s Eve

Share

Clubby and crazed, Beacher’s Madhouse in Las Vegas is going big for the new year.

One of the nation’s bawdiest floor shows opens up in expansive new digs at the MGM Grand on New Year’s Eve, featuring Oompa-Loompas circling the ceiling — among other oddities. The debut is sure to be a hot destination on Sin City’s steamiest night of the year.

The New Year’s Eve show will be prelude to the club’s regular showcases, which start Jan. 17, with early and late shows.

Formerly at the Hard Rock Hotel, Beacher’s Sin City run ended in 2006. Besides the new MGM digs, the only other permanent Beacher’s location is in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Pop-up parties also show up in New York, Chicago and Miami.

Producer and showman Jeff Beacher is bound to add a few surprises to his already zany revue. Current shows feature such acts as Mini-Britney Spears and Mini-Katy Perry. In mock wrestling matches, Mini-Jay Z takes on Mini-Kanye. The shows are more humorous than salacious. But there is that too.

For Miley Cyrus’ controversial Video Music Awards performance, the singer flew Beacher’s performers to New York as dancers.

The New Year’s Eve show will run from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. The Roosevelt Hotel version in Hollywood will also will stage a New Year’s celebration from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
