Share

Twenty-eight of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s executive and sushi chefs from across the U.S. will gather Oct. 9 in Las Vegas for a one-of-a-kind dinner billed as “Nobu United–A Culinary Celebration.”

Chefs from 14 of Nobu Matsuhisa’s restaurants, including those in Los Angeles and Malibu, will showcase their favorite dishes during the seven-course Omikase tasting menu inside Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace Restaurant and Lounge.

The emphasis will be on fish, including dishes such as salt-cured tuna and lemon-cured salmon with truffle and scallops baked in the shell with smoked tomato and soy salt. The menu also includes, as the fourth course, “slow-cooked Wagyu rump accompanied by matsutake and Douglas fir miso, king trumpet ‘bone marrow’ with chestnuts and autumn flavors.”

There will be two sittings for the dinner, to be hosted by Chef Nobu. The 5:30 p.m. feast, which begins with cocktails and canapes, costs $195. A 9:30 p.m. dinner, at $170, excludes the cocktails and canapés.

Part of the proceeds will benefit Keep Memory Alive, an organization working to improve the lives of people with brain disorders and their families.
