Mexico: Culture by day, dancing by night at Nuevo Vallarta center

Share

Get a dose of culture during the day and dance all night at Santuario, a new entertainment center in Mexico‘s Nuevo Vallarta, a resort community about 15 minutes outside Puerto Vallarta.

“We view Santuario as a gateway into education and entertainment for all of our guests,” said El Kadri, director of entertainment for Grupo Vidanta, a hotel and resort developer. “We also view it as a gateway into the Nuevo Vallarta resort property.”

Nuevo Vallarta, a planned residential-resort community that was organized by the Mexican government more than a decade ago, offers resort amenities on three miles of white sandy beach.

Kadri said his company intended for Santuario to act as a central gathering spot for guests at the Grand Luxxe, as well as other resorts in the area, including the Grand Bliss, Grand Mayan and Mayan Palace.

Santuario is an indoor-outdoor facility built under a palapa-style roof. Besides offering a large lounge and bar, it offers spaces where guests can attend cultural sessions to learn about Mexican traditions, take dancing lessons and hear live entertainment at night.

The structure is in the center of the Nuevo Vallarta resort across from the Grand Bliss.
