Tickets for Napa’s coolest eats, drinks and music festival go on sale Thursday -- and usually sell out quickly.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder, Florence and the Machine, Lenny Kravitz, Ziggy Marley, Death Cab for Cutie and others are slated to perform at the three-day BottleRock Napa Valley festival from May 27 to 29.

In all, 70-plus bands provide entertainment on four music stages at the Napa Valley Expo grounds. The fest, which drew 100,000 people last year, also features chef and vintner demos on a culinary stage, and plenty of gourmet bites and brews.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday at BottleRockNapaValley.com and Eventbrite.com. Three-day general admission passes start at $269.

Passes also are available for VIP, VIP Plus Skydeck (access to an elevated viewing platform), the Suites (shaded lounge with goodies and drinks), and Platinum (which combines VIP treatment and adds things like meet and greets with performers and on-stage viewing areas).

This being Napa there are great local wines to taske, such as JaM Cellars, Starmont Winery, Ca’ Momi Winery and more. Food comes from La Toque, Oenotri, Morimoto, Asian fusion Seoul of Taipei and many others. Brews include Napa Smith, Blue Moon Brewing Co. and Crispin Cider.
