Lake Tahoe hotel offers coaching from golfer Annika Sorenstam

Get some golf tips from Swedish pro golfer Annika Sorenstam in August during a weekend stay at the Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe in Truckee, Calif.
Guests will get to schmooze with Sorenstam during a private reception and receive a 90-minute group coaching session during their stay. Guests stay at the Ritz-Carlton, but golf clinics will be held at the nearby Old Greenwood golf course.
Sorenstam, now 44, was the first player in the Ladies Professional Golf Assn. to win more than $20 million during her career. She retired at the end of the 2008 season with wins in 72 LPGA tournaments. She’s also a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
The Annika Gold Weekend, as the package is called, runs from Aug. 14 to 16. It includes a two-night stay, the private reception and golf clinic, 18 holes of golf, boxed lunch at the course and transportation between the hotel and the golf course.
Guests also have to enroll in the hotel’s free Rewards Program to be eligible for the package too.
The weekend costs $1,399 for two and $1,149 for solo travelers.
