The 4-minute ride will feature a dozen scenes inspired by the animated short films starring the beloved British claymation characters, including "A Grand Day Out," "The Wrong Trousers," "A Close Shave" and "A Matter of Loaf and Death."

The new Wallace & Gromit dark ride continues a shift from roller coasters and thrill rides to branded family attractions at the 42-acre Pleasure Beach, which opened in 1896.
Thrill-O-Matic will replace the Gold Mine dark ride, which closed at the end of the 2011 season after 40 years in operation.
