Roy DyBuncio traveled to the Philippines in February to see the impressive rice terraces of Banaue, carved into the mountains about 2,000 years ago. While there he saw a woman sitting on a bench.
"I ... stopped and asked if I could take a photo of her," DyBuncio said. "I don't think she understood me but just stared at me."
The Encino resident used a Canon 5D Mark III.
