Deal: Fly from L.A. to London, Paris or Rome for less than $1,100
Air France is holding an airfare sale on flights from L.A. to Paris and other European cities for less than $1,100.
Flights to Europe have been high this summer, so maybe a fall trip is in order? Air France launched a sale Wednesday on airfares from Los Angeles to Amsterdam, London, Paris and Nice in France, and Rome. Round-trip tickets cost less than $1,100 but you have to buy soon to get this offer.
The deal: There are several caveats to what’s called the Oh La La Deal. First off, you must book at least 28 days in advance. Second, you have to stay a minimum of seven days, and travel must be completed by Jan. 10.
But the sale is good if you want to lock in an airfare price. With the sale, you can fly round-trip from L.A. (LAX) to Paris (CDG) or Amsterdam (AMS) starting at $1,075; to London (LHR) for $1,089; to Rome (FCO) for $1,087; and to Nice (NCE) for $1,087 round-trip. Taxes are included in the price.
The travel window for these prices is Oct. 25 to Dec. 10. Fly between Aug. 23 and Oct. 24, and you’ll pay $75 more per flight. The deal also applies to flights from New York (JFK), Atlanta (ATL) and Boston (BOS).
When: For this offer, you must buy tickets by July 23.
Tested: I found lots of availability when I checked this deal online. For example, if you want to spend Thanksgiving in Paris (flying Nov. 23 and returning Nov. 30), you’ll pay the slightly lower price of $1,058. I also found a slightly higher $1,107 fare to Nice, $1,107 on the same dates.
