Peck Euwer inspects his surfboard. Euwer was paddling in 45 feet of water near Santa Barbara three years ago when a great white shark rammed the board with Euwer on it. The force caused Euwer to roll off the board and over the nose and head of the shark as the animal bit down on his surfboard.
