By the time the Olympic torch reaches Vancouver, British Columbia, it will have traveled almost 28,000 miles, traversing nearly every corner of Canada. In fact, the 2010 Olympic torch relay will be the longest in a single country in history.
As the torch makes its way around Canada, it will pass through many unusual sites, including the most northerly permanent human settlement in the world and an igloo-shaped church. Here are more highlights.
