California’s Sonoma Creek Inn offers tasteful experience

The deal: The Carpe Diem special, available Sundays through Thursdays, includes one night in a queen-bed guest room, a complimentary bottle of wine and two passes for Sonoma-area wine tasting. Friday and Saturday rates are $109 to $129. The special rates end March 27.
The hotel: The inn has 16 rooms, many with private outdoor patios or porches. Rooms are decorated with individual artwork, handcrafted accessories and art tiles.
Location: The hotel, at 239 Boyes Blvd., is close to wineries, parks and downtown Sonoma, with its historic plaza, restaurants and shops.
