Two animal-print robes hang in the closet of a guest room at the recently opened Hotel Palomar in Westwood, described by its owners as the city's first eco-luxe hotel. The 268-room hotel at 10740 Wilshire Blvd. offers luxurious surroundings and amenities and also features dozens of environmentally friendly programs and practices. Temperature sensors automatically adjust the heating and cooling in unoccupied rooms, cleaning products are eco-friendly, and guests can ask to reuse their linens instead of having them washed every day.
