THE Wailea Beach Villas, in Wailea on the Hawaiian island of Maui, opened some of its luxury condominiums May 1. All the units are expected to be open by mid-June. Half of the complex’s 98 units are available for rent on a per-night basis. The units, which vary in size from 1,900 to 3,100 square feet, all have lanais. Some ground-floor units have private plunge pools. The project also has two swimming pools, concierge assistance and twice-daily maid service. Prices begin at $1,100 per night, with a five-night minimum.
