A day at the beach, a night at the villa
THE Wailea Beach Villas, in Wailea on the Hawaiian island of Maui, opened some of its luxury condominiums May 1. All the units are expected to be open by mid-June. Half of the complex’s 98 units are available for rent on a per-night basis. The units, which vary in size from 1,900 to 3,100 square feet, all have lanais. Some ground-floor units have private plunge pools. The project also has two swimming pools, concierge assistance and twice-daily maid service. Prices begin at $1,100 per night, with a five-night minimum. For information: (866) 901-5207, www.waileabeachvillas.com.
