3. World War II Valor in the Pacific, Oahu, Hawaii

The survivors at the somber USS Arizona Memorial in Honolulu are living history of the Dec. 7, 1941, attack on Pearl Harbor, which preceded the United States' entrance into World War II. The reverent memorial educates visitors through survivors' firsthand accounts, museum exhibits and the opportunity to reflect on the underwater remains of the USS Arizona.
