Taos Pueblo( World Monuments Fund )
Taos Pueblo, N.M.
The Taos Pueblo is one of the few remaining 13th and 14th century Pueblo Indian settlements. Keeping with tribal customs, the Pueblo live in the layered adobe homes here and do not have modern plumbing or electricity. Some improvements have been made to these homes, such as the addition of windows and doors to replace original rooftop entries.
