Cathay Pacific Airways’ 2008 All Asia Pass offers budget travel to Hong Kong, more cities

The 2008 Cathay Pacific Airways All Asia Pass is out, offering a chance to visit Hong Kong and up to four additional destinations over 21 days for one price.

The pass offers passengers roundtrip economy class travel from San Francisco, Los Angeles or New York, to Hong Kong, with up to 21 consecutive days of travel to a choice of up to four cities chosen from 23 Asian destinations. Destinations covered by the deal are Bangkok, Thailand; Busan, South Korea; Cebu, Philippines; Denpasar, Indonesia; Fukuoka, Japan; Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam; Jakarta, Indonesia; Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Karachi, Pakistan; Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Manila, Philippines; Nagoya, Japan; Osaka, Japan; Penang, Malaysia; Phuket, Thailand; Phnom Penh, Cambodia; Sapporo, Japan; Seoul, South Korea; Singapore; Surabaya, Indonesia; Taipei, Taiwan; and Tokyo.

The airfare starts at $1,099 for travel to Hong Kong plus two cities, $1,399 for travel to Hong Kong plus three cities and $1,699 for travel to Hong Kong plus four cities.

Departure dates are available through May 15, and then there is a second window for departures between Aug. 28 through Dec. 1.

Summer travel and extension options up to 90 days are available for an additional fee.

All Asia Pass travelers can also select from other U.S. gateways cities - San Diego; Las Vegas; Denver; Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Boston; Chicago; Dallas; Detroit; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Houston; Miami; Nashville, Tenn.; New Orleans; Orlando, Fla.; Philadelphia; Pittsburgh; Raleigh- Durham, N.C.; St. Louis; Tampa, Fla., and Washington D.C./Baltimore.

The Pass also offers add-on destinations including Beijing; Delhi; Dhaka, Bangladesh; Shanghai; Mumbai, India, and more.

All Asia Passes must be booked through a travel agent. Some restrictions apply and all travel must be completed by Dec. 8. The offer is only valid for U.S. residents and travel must originate in the U.S. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes.
