Here's your chance to tell The Los Angeles Times Travel staff where to go. (Note that "hell" is not the answer we're after.) Instead, if you have a favorite Western vacation spot and want to let others know about it, please tell us about it. You may want to share a favorite fishing spot, a great hotel or resort, a romantic picnic place, a quiet beach, a mountain idyll...the list goes on and on. If we like your ideas, we'll have a reporter check out your suggestions and publish them in an August issue. We look forward to having you tell us how to spend a great summer vacation.
We are no longer taking ideas. If you submited a suggestion, check back soon to see if your spot is one of our finalists.

Entries will be accepted online from noon Saturday, June 7 to noon Monday, June 23. You may submit as many unique entries as you would like. Finalists will be announced online by noon Saturday, July 5 and will appear in print Sunday, July 6. The best suggestions will appear online by noon Saturday, Aug. 16, and will be featured in print Sunday, Aug. 17.

If your entry is chosen, we will send a travel writer to the destination you recommend to check it out and write an article. In addition, you undoubtedly will win praise from your family and friends for your travel acumen.
