Cairo kites
Children get ready to fly a kite in a side street of the al-Sayida Aisha area of old Cairo. Egyptian children fly them for fun as a tradition in poor neighborhoods. Its nice and cool at sunset. There are days when you cant see the sky because there are so many kites, and sometimes we fly at night, tying little lanterns on them, says kite enthusiast Hani Mahmoud.
