The Principality of Monaco is hosting a major exhibit through Sept. 23 about its most famous princess, Grace Kelly, who died Sept. 14, 1982. “The Grace Kelly Years” at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco (www.grimaldiforum.com) explores her life in decorated “rooms” that start with her life in Hollywood and lead to the room where she married Prince Rainier in 1956. The Hotel de Paris, Hotel Hermitage, Hotel Mirabeau, Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel and the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort are offering companion two-night packages that start at $540 to $985 per night. (Go to www.visitmonaco.com.)

From Oct. 15 to 26, parts of the exhibit move to Sotheby’s in New York to coincide with the 25th Anniversary Princess Grace Awards Gala, an event that benefits the arts. Two outfits belonging to Kelly -- a Givenchy-designed dress and bolero, and a Helen Rose ball gown -- will be auctioned off for charity. Go to www.sothebys.com.
