Where am I?: Red and yellow and ripe all over

The calendar says tomato season should be winding down, but in these days of global warmth, who really knows?

In the last days of September, it was certainly a rainbow of fruity color out there in the produce aisles of the American West.

To aid you in tracking down the locale of these particular fruits, which are billed as organic, some hints: This city got its name in the 1860s. The retail operation shown here has been under the same management since 1987. Sales go on "rain or shine," and other vendors include Bay Worms, Big Paw Grub, Billy Bob Orchards, Blue Bottle Coffee Company and Happy Nuts Farm.
