Just when you thought Las Vegas had come up with everything tourists could possibly do poolside, Linq Hotel announces a new pastime: ping pong. Starting Friday, July 10, the resort teams up with USA Table Tennis.

The party kicks off at 8 p.m. with 20 ping pong tables surrounding the two pools and 30,000 ping pong balls filling the pools until midnight.

Guests can show off their chop blocks or drop shots for free and order Miller Lite, Coors Light and Herradura Tequila drink specials all night.

The new pool, unveiled in the spring, features night swims every Friday and Saturday night from 8 p.m. to midnight with live bands or deejays. The champagne Sunday pool parties start at 11 a.m. with buy-one, get-one 750-ml bottles of Veuve Clicquot and Moet champagne.

Order drinks at the 32-seat center bar lined with four plasma televisions, or grab food from Nook Express.

The main pool boasts a wet deck with lily pad daybeds available for rent, while the second pool is accessed from a standalone, elevated deck with tables available for rent as well. Cabanas, daybeds and cabana rooms are available for purchase.

Don’t miss the Recovery Zone, an air-conditioned space to cool down and play pool, beer pong, shuffle board and more that’s open Fridays through Sundays.

Note, these pools are meant for guests 21 and older.
