Adam Carolla rolls through Las Vegas with four comedy shows

Funnyman Adam Carolla takes his show on the road with four dates in Las Vegas this week. The construction worker turned comedian puts on two shows on Friday, July 10, and two more on Saturday, July 11, at the intimate Vinyl at the Hard Rock Hotel.

The king of the podcast tells Las Vegas Magazine to expect freestyle comedy riffing at his show.

“We get good comedians to come up, and it’s sort of like watching good jazz musicians jam except we do it with comedy,” he said. “I usually have a couple of thoughts and a couple of ideas, couple things I want to talk about before I walk out onstage. Sometimes we’ll play some games or do some stuff like that, but it’s all improvised.

Comedian Dana Gould kicks it all off with the early show on Friday, followed by The Dan Band, the comedy band created by actor and comedian Dan Finnerty. Then special guest comedian Louie Anderson performs at the early show on Sunday, followed by KOMP 92.3’s Brittney Cason and “America’s Got Talent” hypnotist Chris Jones in the late slot.

Carolla honed his comedy chops on the call-in show “Lovelines” and Comedy Central’s “The Man Show.” This year he releases his new book, “Daddy Stop Talking!” and a documentary about Paul Newman’s racing career.

Tickets start at $40.
