Set a course for adventure; your mind on a new romance. Yes, it’s a line from the theme song for “The Love Boat.” Jack Jones, the Grammy Award-winning jazz and pop singer, performs his timeless hits at the Suncoast Showroom on Aug. 22 and 23.

The Hollywood-born performer has more than 50 albums under his belt, with 17 of them charting Billboard’s Top 20.

His biggest hits include the theme song from “The Love Boat” along with “The Race Is On,” “Lady,” “Call Me Irresponsible” and “What I Did For Love.”

Jones also made a mark in films and television. Most recently, he was the voice of Greg’s frog in the animated TV mini-series featuring Elijah Wood, “Over the Garden Wall,” and appeared alongside Christian Bale and Amy Adams in the 2013 award-winning film “American Hustle.”

Jones also appeared in musicals such as “Guys and Dolls,” “South Pacific,” “She Loves Me” and “Pajama Game.”

Jones has spent much of 2015 paying tribute to Frank Sinatra during what would have been Sinatra’s 100th birthday.
