Judas Priest wants you to know, “You’ve got another thing comin’.” The British rockers bring their catalog of more than four decades of music to the Pearl at the Palms on Saturday, Oct. 17, in support of their 17th studio album, “Redeemer of Souls.”

Their latest release marked the band’s highest charting album of their career when it debuted on the Billboard 200 charts at No. 6.

“Redeemer of Souls” also went on to become one of the most critically acclaimed releases of the band’s career with Rolling Stone saying, “Above all, ‘Redeemer’ is proof that Priest can still call themselves metal’s defenders of the faith.”

Leather and spikes are the hallmarks of this band that defined the glam metal era of the 1980s. The group’s 1980 album “British Steel” ushered in the era of big hair and sold-out stadiums for heavy metal bands. Tracks from that album such as “Breaking the Law,” “Living After Midnight” and “United” found frequent radio play and became anthems for Judas Priest.

The band’s follow up “Screaming for Vengeance” included the smash hit “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’,” which sent the album to double platinum.

Atlanta’s metal band Mastodon opens the show.

Tickets start at $73 and go on sale on Friday, July 31.
