Mat Franco, the first magician to win “America’s Got Talent,” now has his own show on the Las Vegas Strip.
Franco debuted his show “Mat Franco — Magic Reinvented Nightly” at the recently renovated Linq Theater at the Linq Hotel & Casino over the weekend.
The show includes new magic tricks Franco hasn’t performed in public until now. Franco even gets up close with the crowd to perform his magic, most of which he taught himself.
The 27-year-old Rhode Island native started working on his craft at age 10 and headlined his own show in Las Vegas by 15.
Franco also has an upcoming special, "Mat Franco's Got Magic," airing on NBC on Sept. 17. The two-hour show follows Franco’s trek from Rhode Island to Las Vegas.
Actor and magic lover Neil Patrick Harris, New England Patriots tight end Ron Gronkowski, supermodel Heidi Klum, singer Jason Mraz and Las Vegas’ own magicians Penn & Teller are among the guests.
Tickets to his Las Vegas show start at $40.45.
