Share

Puscifer plays the Pearl at the Palms on Dec. 12 as the the group heads out on the road in support of its latest album, “Money Shot,” and the release of the “Grand Canyon” video.

“As is the modus operandi of Puscifer, there will be a whole new show to accompany the ‘Money Shot’ release,” says Maynard James Keenan in a press statement. Puscifer is a side project for Keenan, of Tool and A Perfect Circle.

“We’ve been leaving a few clues here and there as to what it may entail. As usual, we prefer to show rather than tell. Odds are if you’ve been a fan of the diverse nature of our performances in the past, you’ll want to go ahead and place those bets.”

The new show, which combines comedy with rock music, debuts in Las Vegas, a tip of the hat to the original performance at the Pearl at the Palms in 2009. Previous shows have included characters such as Billy D and Hildy Berger sitting around a campfire with an Airstream in the background.

The live line-up for the Money Shot tour includes Keenan, Mat Mitchell, Carina Round, Jeff Friedl, Mahsa Zargaran and the newest addition, Paul Barker of Ministry and Lead Into Gold.

Tickets start at $43 and go on sale Friday at noon.
