Coronado Ferry Landing in San Diego

( Don Bartletti / Los Angeles Times ) Don't tell San Francisco, but Coronado Ferry Landing in San Diego may have the most jaw-dropping city views in the state, including a snazzy skyline, Navy craft, the Coronado Bay Bridge and the traffic (sailboats to freighters) in the channel. |

Well that was disappointing, a waste of time. California extends from Mexico to the Oregon border. You gave us a smattering of piers (mostly in San Diego County) and stopped in San Francisco, skipped Santa Monica and Malibu. This seems very scattershot to me, a poorly thought out anc poorly executed waste of time that did no justice to its subject. Some of the pictures were lovely, but that's it. They did not tell a compelling story. An interesting topic, though.
