Jun. 8 Look closely, and you'll see the profile of a standing bear in this photo of an Arizona slot canyon taken by Judy L. Melton of Burbank. "If you focus just on the bright outline, you will see the silhouette of a bear," she said in a letter. She was on a Navajo-guided tour near Page, Ariz., in May 2003. To see the bear, "the sun passing overhead has to be at a perfect time," Melton said. Her camera was a Canon Sure Shot Z115, and she covered the flash with duct tape.
