Don't forget, in addition to this blog, some of the other places we hang out in cyberspace include on SteveAndJohnnie.com, on our Facebook page, on Twitter, on the SteveAndJohnnieShow's YouTube Channel, on our Yahoo Group and, believe it or not, there is even more with still more cyber-real estate in our future.
American Idol and Dancing With The Stars sing and dance their final songs this week and both shows are part of this week's game plan. As always, things happen and we change direction as needed so, you might want to check back in this blog post now and then for any updates as we know them. However, at the moment, here's how things shape up.
SUNDAY NIGHT / MONDAY MORNING
Katie Quick's laryngitis kept her sidlined and off our show a few weeks ago, but her new album is too good not to share with the class so our New Music Monday Magic Laser spotlight lands on Katie's latest, "Valley Between Love."
If you'd like more information on all the New Music Monday albums and artists we featured during the past couple of years, you'll find it right here.
MONDAY NIGHT / TUESDAY MORNING:
Tonight, we'll share photo tips, review some of the newest cameras and tackle your photography questions with photo inovator Will Crockett, who heads up the popular ShootSmarter.com website as well as the Crockettville blog.
In addition, Will helps us pick this month's winners of our Monthly Photo Challenge.
During the show you can follow along as Will shows and tells by clicking on this link to Will's "Make Better Digital Pictures" Facebook page.
For many years, as our Monday night segued into the wee hours of Tuesday morning, we'd check redhotred.com to see who our friend Les Paul had been jamming with at the Iridium Jazz Club, in New York. Now and then Les would surprise us with a call after his show. Once again, tonight we'll take a few minutes and remember the amazing Les Paul and his legacy as we revisit part of an interview, a story, a laugh or, most importantly, his music and listen to "A Little More Les."
Don't forget, you can keep up with the latest Les Paul news and events by checking out the Les Paul Foundation website.
TUESDAY NIGHT / WEDNESDAY MORNING:
In case you haven't noticed, there are a couple of pretty big TV finales this week. The first is "American Idol." We'll get the scoop on the Idol finalists and their final performances from Brian Mansfield who describes himself as "USA Today's easily distracted Nashville correspondent and, since early 2009, its Idol Chatter community leader."
Tonight, on our Radio Road Test, we'll get behind the wheel of the 2011 Buick Regal CXL Turbo Sedan.
And remember, you can always add to your automotive research by checking our Radio Road Test Audio Archives for past reviews.
So, what about that other big deal TV finale? You know, the one with Kirstie Alley, Chelsea Kane and Hines Ward. We've got that covered, too. We'll get our final Dancing With The Stars update for this season from mirror ball aficionado par excellance, Channel7's Tracy Butler.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT / THURSDAY MORNING:
We'll download all the latest updates along with FREE computer tech support and do our best to solve your computer problems on Website Wednesday Night with the "World Famous" Cybersquad!
Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California's Rossier School of Education and a program manager and educational program designer at USC's Center for Scholarly Technology, co-founder of The Internet Tourbus and webmaster of Netsquirrel.com.
Signing on to the Cybersquad mothership again this week is Mike Reid, Owner/Operator of TechHandyman.net.
THURSDAY NIGHT / FRIDAY MORNING
We're off for another fact finding mission to Florida. While we're gone, be kind to Nick Digilio as he guides you through in the night.
As we said above, this is just the game plan. Any breaking news means we head in whatever direction events dictate. Hope you'll join us to see how this week's adventures play out.
As always, thanks for keeping us up nights.Copyright © 2014, Los Angeles Times
