Temple Sholom once again brings Chicago's Jewish community together to celebrate its 145th year as one of the largest and most prominent religious organizations in the city with the Temple Sholom Annual Fundraising Gala on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 6:00 – 11:30 p.m. at the iconic Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum.

The celebration will kick off with a Family Event on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum where Temple Sholom and many of its Gan Shalom pre-school families will join together to eat, schmooze, sing and explore the extraordinary museum exhibits.

The evening gala includes delectable cuisine, an open cocktail bar, a fantastic raffle and live auction, with prizes including: a trip to the Four Seasons Resort in Punta Mita, Mexico, a behind-the-scenes meet-and-greet with the Chicago Blackhawks, and a Five-star Chef prepared dinner for 4. Guests will dine, drink and dance the night away to the jubilant sounds of the David Rothstein Orchestra.

The Temple Sholom Annual Fundraising Gala is co-chaired by Dan and Beth Bernstein; event proceeds will benefit the Temple's educational, religious and community programs, as well as the Gan Shalom Early Childhood Center. Tickets can be purchased by calling (773) 435-1559. Prices are $18 and up for the morning family event and $180 and up for the evening gala.

Temple Sholom of Chicago is located at 3480 N. Lake Shore Dr. For additional information please go our website: www.sholomchicago.org.
