New Orleans Police are requesting the public's assistance in locating 27-year-old Fitzroy "Boy George" George, wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Eric Cargo on the night of October 19, 2011.
Cargo was found lying in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 4000 block of Hamilton Street. Cargo was pronounced dead on the scene.
During the course of the investigation, Fitzroy George was positively identified by a witness as the person responsible for the murder and an arrest warrant was secured for Second Degree Murder.

George has previous arrests for criminal damage to property, an attachment and battery.
Cargo was wanted for traffic attachments at the time of his death and was currently on parole for possession of cocaine. Cargo had prior arrests for Malfeasance, Unauthorized Use of a Moveable, Traffic, Possession of Coca Leaves, Possession of Marijuana, Resisting a Police Officer, Simple Battery, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Simple Robbery.
