Sheriff's Office Seizes Marijuana, Cash

On Friday, February 18, 2011, agents with Louisiana Probation and Parole conducted a residence check on one of their probationers, Henry Arbona (Slidell – DOB: 9/15/66).  After discovering a large quantity of packaged marijuana in Arbona’s house, they notified the Sheriff’s Office.


Narcotics Task Force detectives seized approximately 15 lbs. of high-grade marijuana, approximately $12,000 in cash, and a small amount of M.D.M.A. (“Ecstasy”) from the residence.  Arbona was arrested for possession with intent to distribute Schedule I CDS (Marijuana), possession of Schedule I CDS (MDMA) and possession of drug paraphernalia.


The estimated street value of the marijuana as it was packaged is approximately $80,000.


Arbona has a long history of narcotics violations, dating to 1989.  He is currently being held in the St. Tammany Parish Jail in lieu of $125,000 bond.
